After her debut mini album R.A.I.N.B.O.W
, Taru releases her first full-length album, simply titled Taru
. The praised vocalist of disbanded rock band The Melody, Taru earlier won fame for her work on original soundtracks and as a featured artist on Wheesung's Love Seat
and Epik High's "1 Minute, 1 Second".
On Taru, she collaborates with J-pop band Swinging Popsicle, who produced the album and composed all the songs except for the bonus track. Featured tracks include "Washing Machine" (Track 2), "The Style of Loving" (Track 3), the duet "If Tomorrow Comes" (Track 8) with No Reply's Kwon Soon Kwan, and a new version of Yesterday, which was originally featured on R.A.I.N.B.O.W. Rounding off the album is a bonus track, "Wings of Time" (Track 13), penned by electronica group Sentimental Scenery and originally featured on the soundtrack for the game Chronos Wing.
