Art Service Like Father, Like Son (Blu-ray) (Korea Version)
HK$ 280.00
Is a family defined by blood or by love? That's the key question in Like Father, Like Son, the latest film from acclaimed auteur Kore-eda Hirokazu. Japanese superstar Fukuyama Masaharu stars as an architect who falls into a parent's nightmare when he is informed that his six-year-old son was actually switched at birth with another couple's son. After Still Walking and I Wish, Kore-eda once again explores the complexities of the familial bond with this engrossing and heartrending drama, portraying a devastating situation with gentle intimacy and a down-to-earth touch. The winner of the Jury Prize at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, Like Father, Like Son also stars Ono Machiko (Climber's High), Maki Yoko (Love Strikes) and Lily Franky (All Around Us).

Ryota (Fukuyama Masaharu) thought he had it all: a good job, a lovely wife (Ono Machiko), an expensive home and an adorable six-year-old son to shape in his own image. However, everything comes crashing down when he is informed that his son was switched at birth with another family's child. After getting in touch with the other couple, the down-to-earth Yudai (Lily Franky) and Yukari (Yoko Maki), Ryota is faced with a difficult dilemma: Keep the son that he has spent six years with, or give him up for a stranger that he happens to be related to by blood?

Art Service Possessed (Blu-ray) (First Press Limited Edition) (Korea Version)
HK$ 295.00
Five years after starring in The Ghost, Nam Sang Mi returns to the horror genre in 2009 with Possessed (a.k.a. Living Death), her first film in four years. Written and directed by first-time director Lee Yong Joo who assisted on Bong Joon Ho's Memories of Murder, the low-key horror thriller sees Nam Sang Mi trying to save her missing possibly demon-possessed little sister, played by Shim Eun Kyung from Hansel and Gretel, who is connected to a mysterious string of neighborhood deaths. Possessed packs in its share of scares, but what sets the horror apart from other genre offerings is its fascinating depiction of the clash of faiths and the demons within. Possessed also co-stars Ryu Seung Ryong as a police officer and veteran actress Kim Bo Yeon as the mother.

College student Hee Jin (Nam Sang Mi) rushes home after finding out her younger sister So Jin (Shim Eun Kyung) has disappeared. Neither her praying mother (Kim Bo Yeon) nor the police have any clue where she's gone. Soon a neighbor commits suicide, leaving a will for So Jin. Rumors of So Jin being possessed begin to spread as more and more people fall victim.

"Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain..."

Bringing in over seven million admissions at the box office, nostalgic blockbuster Sunny is Korea's feel-good hit of the year. Jumping between the roaring eighties and the present-day, the crowd-pleasing film follows the friendship of seven girls, then and now. Shim Eun Kyung (Romantic Heaven), Kang So Ra (4th Period Mystery), and Min Hyo Rin (Romance Town) lead the teenage rebellion as feisty, troublemaking schoolgirls whose high school brawling days cross over with the democracy protests of the eighties. Coming of age amid pop tunes, sunny times, and fearless friendship, what lives await yesterday's reckless dreamers when they meet again as adults? Winning Best Director at the Daejong Film Awards with just his second film, writer-director Kang Hyung Chul follows Speedy Scandal with another critically acclaimed smash hit that connects with audiences of all ages.

The picture of beauty and composure, forty-something mother and wife Na Mi (Yoo Ho Jung) seems to have achieved the ideal life. One day, she bumps into her old high school friend Chun Hwa (Jin Hee Kyung), who is hospitalized with terminal cancer but still as sassy as ever. They reminisce about their high school days together 25 years ago. Back then, Na Mi (Shim Eun Kyung) was the quirky, small-town girl who just moved to Seoul, and Chun Hwa (Kang So Ra) was the tough fighter who welcomed her into the "Sunny" crew. Along with chubby Jang Mi (Kim Min Young), foul-mouthed Jin Hee (Park Jin Joo), bookish Geum Ok (Nam Bo Ra), Miss Korea wannabe Bok Hee (Kim Bo Mi), and arrogant beauty Su Ji (Min Hyo Rin), the girls picked fights with rival cliques and danced their teenage hearts away. They vowed to be friends forever, but adolescent breakdowns and the advent of adulthood would send them all down different roads. As Chun Hwa's health worsens, Na Mi sets out to round up the Sunny crew for one more dance.

Art Service Late Autumn (2010) (Blu-ray) (Normal Edition) (Korea Version)
HK$ 272.00
Family Ties director Kim Tae Yong transplants Lee Man Hee's sixties classic Late Autumn to Seattle for an English-language remake starring two of Asia's biggest names, Tang Wei (Lust, Caution) and Hyun Bin (Come Rain, Come Shine). Tang Wei won Best Actress at the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards for her performance.

Inmate Anna (Tang Wei) is granted three-day parole to attend her mother's funeral. On the bus to Seattle, she meets a caddish man on the run, Hoon (Hyun Bin). More similar than they realize, the two bond as they tour the city and play-act different scenarios, knowing that their time together is shortlived. What's left unsaid is as important as what is said in this evocative story of fleeting passion and solace.

This edition comes with a postcard and special features including commentary, "One Day in Seattle," deleted scenes with commentary, music video and trailer.

Art Service Cold Eyes (Blu-ray) (2-Disc) (First Press Limited Edition) (Korea Version)
HK$ 272.00
Korea's remake of the 2007 Hong Kong police thriller Eye in the Sky, Cold Eyes transplants the intense battle of wits and surveillance to the streets of Seoul. Sol Kyung Gu and Jung Woo Sung step into the opposing roles originally played by Simon Yam and Tony Leung Ka Fai a grisly surveillance unit leader and a coldly meticulous criminal mastermind. Also on the police surveillance team are Han Hyo Ju as the impulsive greenhorn and 2PM member Lee Jun Ho in his film debut. Co-directed by Jo Eui Seok (The World of Silence) and Kim Byung Seo, Cold Eyes is the rare remake that lives up to the original. The tense crime thriller stays true to the original's storyline while also setting itself apart in character and tone through strong performances, impeccable pacing and nerve-wracking chase scenes.

After taking an on-site test, Yoon Joo (Han Hyo Ju) becomes the newest member of the police surveillance unit led by veteran Detective Hwang (Sol Kyung Gu). Through tracking devices and good old legwork, the unit's task is to gather intel for other teams by finding, following and observing suspects, but never engaging. While Yoon Joo's taking her test, elsewhere in town a bank robbery occurs in broad daylight. The entire job is orchestrated down to the last second by the leader of the group, James (Jung Woo Sung), who observes from a nearby rooftop and allows no mistakes.

Detective Hwang and his team begin combing the area for the bank robbers, gradually narrowing the field and closing in on the suspects. James, however, catches scent of the police and stays one ruthless step ahead, escalating the cat-and-mouse game to life and death stakes.

This edition comes with commentary, making-of, action and production design featurettes, deleted scenes, poster shooting and trailer.

Art Service Thread of Lies (Blu-ray) (Korea Version)
HK$ 280.00
Following Punch, director Lee Han adapts another Kim Ryeo Ryeong novel for the silver screen, this time tackling the difficult topics of suicide and school bullying. Set in the aftermath of a teenage girl's sudden suicide, the critically acclaimed Thread of Lies reveals through flashbacks the experiences and incidents that built up to her death. Exploring the sensitive dynamics of middle school classrooms and adolescent friendships, the film presents a realistic, nuanced study on bullying that avoids casting blanket judgment but rather addresses the cruel and complex relationship between the victims and perpetrators of bullying. Appearing in her first film in over 20 years, Kim Hee Ae (Secret Love Affair) plays the mother struggling to keep things together after unspeakable loss. Sung Dong Il and Punch's Yoo Ah In also appear in supporting roles. The greatest spotlight, however, goes to the superb young female cast of Ko Ah Sung (Snowpiercer) and top teen actresses Kim Yoo Jung (Commitment) and Kim Hyang Gi (A Werewolf Boy).

14-year-old schoolgirl Cheon Ji (Kim Hyang Gi) takes her own life one day without leaving a suicide note. Her widowed mother (Kim Hee Ae) and older sister Man Ji (Ko Ah Sung) are left reeling from the grief and shock. They never saw the warning signs. Seeking answers, Man Ji begins to approach Cheon Ji's classmates and gradually learns about her sister's peer circle and the class queen bee, Hwa Yeon (Kim Yoo Jung), who befriended then bullied her.
