All You Need to Know About the iPhone 11 Pro in Hong Kong

Apple launched a new trio of new iPhones in early September-the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Apple placed an emphasis on the cameras in its new iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max smartphones, adding an extra ultra-wide-angle lens while also improving the image processing technology, as well as adding features like night mode for better low-light photography.

Colour Options

The iPhone 11 Pro is available in 4 colours, midnight green, space grey, silver and gold. All of them have a textured matte glass back and a glossy stainless steel band that runs all the way around the edge.

Triple the Cameras, Triple the Fun

The key feature of the 11 Pro range is the new rear-facing triple camera setup, which combines the following sensors:

  • 12-megapixel f/1.8 wide-angle sensor
  • 12-megapixel f/2.4 ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree field of view
  • 12-megapixel f/2.0 telephoto sensor

The most eye-catching new camera feature is called Deep Fusion. It’s a new image processing system that learns to optimize texture, details, and noise in every part of the photo. With one touch of the shutter button, the 11 Pro will shoot multiple images, then pick out the best bits and combine them to form the best possible snap. There’s Night Mode as well, which will turn on automatically when you fire up the camera in a low-light setting.

Improved Battery Life

The iPhone 11 Pro has about 10.5 hours of battery life on a charge. Apple also included an 18-watt USB-C fast charger with the Pro phones, so you can get up to 50% charge around 30 minutes.

Performance

iPhone 11 Pro is powered by the new Apple A13 Bionic. Like the A12 Bionic before it, the A13 Bionic features a total of 18 cores-a six-core CPU, four-core CPU, and an eight-core Neural Engine processor, which is dedicated to handling on-board machine learning processes.

It essentially unlocks the door for powerful new capabilities like 4K video at 60fps and slow-motion selfies (slofies) and should ensure excellent performance no matter what tasks or games you throw at the phone.

iPhone 11 Pro 5G, Face ID and more

None of Apple’s new iPhones offers 5G connectivity, but that was expected. And there is no headphone jack to be seen on the model. However, there is a faster and more capable Face ID system-up to 30% faster which allows you to unlock your phone from longer distances and wider angles.
