Although it's not as feature-packed as the other two cards in this mini-roundup, the Xonar DS is a brilliant budget choice. If you want to use S/PDIF to output audio to a set of surround sound speakers, the Asus Xonar DX is a better option as it supports Dolby Digital, but the Xonar DS is still an great card considering the bargain price.
