Meizu Pro 5 Hong Kong

An Exquisite Smartphone

Where the Meizu MX line of midrange smartphones are made with colourful high quality plastics, the Meizu Pro 5 is made of metal craft. And it is rather amazing craftsmanship. The metal on the smartphone is first cut out from metal with a customized ball cutter which is extremely precise with only a 1mm diameter, resulting in unrivalled precision. From there, the smartphone is then polished through a complex process over three times, hardening the surface of the smartphone and making it smooth and durable.

The entire smartphone’s metal body goes through a lot of different processes that results in the exquisitely designed Meizu Pro 5. Meizu is very meticulous in the build of the smartphone, so much so that they have even completely innovated the fingerprint sensor slash home key on the bottom of the smartphone with its construction consisting of several layers of metals and alloys for a much better experience.

Listen Better with the Pro 5

The Meizu Pro 5 fulfils a little niche in smartphone innovation and technology that many other devices tend to lack: high quality audio output. The Meizu Pro 5 packs a very high quality DAC (digital to analogue converter) and amplifier in its body to output high quality audio to your favourite headphones or earphones. The result of this is sound and audio that is precise and crystal clear, with excellent soundstaging for your favourite music.

If you are not one for using personal headphones and earphones, the four speaker grills on the bottom of the Pro 5 packs a powerful loudspeaker that has a powerful processing algorithm that delivers rich sounds with low frequencies and crystal clear highs.

The Longest Battery Life for a Meizu

With so many powerful features like the Hi-Fi DAC and amplifier, the Meizu Pro 5 needs a large battery to keep it going throughout the whole day. Which is why Meizu has included a 3050 mAh battery into the smartphone, made with Sony fast-charging cells for shorter recharge times. The smartphone is also optimized through the software to work well with the low-power AMOLED display and efficient Samsung Exynos processors for a long battery life.

The Meizu Pro 5 recharges quickly and also transfers data to and from a computer at blazing speed thanks to the use of the brand new USB Type C connector. Featuring a reversible connector (no more messing around with the USB for a proper fit) and improved durability over the traditional USB connector, USB Type C delivers quick charging power and also read write speeds.
