Oneplus 6 Release Date, and Price in Hong Kong

The Oneplus 5T is one of the most desired flagship phones of 2017 and can be quite a challenge to top off. However, Oneplus is on its way to releasing their brand new flagship this May 2018 - the Oneplus 6. It is rumoured to feature a whopping 6.28-inch display, a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 3,450mAh battery life. This phone is so close to being released that we can practically taste it.

Oneplus 6 Release Date

Ever since the success of the Oneplus 5T, many experts are looking forward to more Oneplus phones in the market. Thankfully, Oneplus is set to release the 5T’s predecessor - Oneplus 6, in May 16 with a launch event in London. Besides that, the Taiwanese brand is also set to release an Avengers special edition variant of their new flagship.

Oneplus 6 Screen and Design

Oneplus is promising “bigger and better” phones and looks like they’ll be keeping that promise with the Oneplus 6 in terms of screen and design. The phone is designed to have 6.28 inches of screen which covers the entire front and a “notch” which almost looks like the iPhone X. This Oneplus phone would also sport a glass design which is totally different from its unibody predecessors. The Oneplus 6 will also feature a fingerprint scanner which is located below the rear cameras.

Oneplus 6 Hardware

What is impressive about the Oneplus 6 is its specs and hardware. This Oneplus model will feature a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage as confirmed by Oneplus CEO Pete Lau. There are also speculations that a 6GB RAM variant will be available. In terms of battery life, the Oneplus 6 will feature a 3,450mAh Li-Po battery rigged with the signature Oneplus fast charge and even equipped with wireless charging. Specs that could rival even the latest Samsung or iPhone models, the Oneplus 6 is looking as impressive as it is.

Oneplus 6 Camera

In terms of camera, the Oneplus 6 will feature 20MP+16MP dual-lens rear cameras and a 20MP front camera. Enabling you to shoot videos with high frame-rates at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps, and 720p@30/120fps. It also has several modes including panorama, ultra HDR, touch focus, and a whole lot more.
