It may seem disappointing for some that the R7 is not as slim as the previous model, it deviated from that equation for a pretty good reason – to squeeze in more battery life and performance into the device, making this phone a more balanced device than the R5. Despite its bulked up upgrade though, the R7 is still as fine looking smartphone on the outside that deserves recognition. Also, it feels perfectly comfortable in the hands, still providing its using a great shape to have a grip on.
More Memory, More Storage Space, What Else Could You Ask for?
Due to its bigger build than its predecessor, the R7 was able to squeeze in 2 major upgrade – a 3GB RAM and a microSD slot. It would have been close to impossible for Oppo to do such upgrade if they decided to retain the extra slim factor of the phone. With these upgrade, running memory consuming applications and storing excessive amount of files in your phone is no longer a problem.
Rich Screen Display
The Oppo R7 boasts a very vivid screen with its 5” 1080p AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, and its pixel density is set at 445 ppi. On top of that, the screen’s cover is embellished with Gorilla Glass 3, for shock and scratch protection.
You Will Never Run Out of Pixels
Whether you’re using the rear camera or the front camera, every photo taken by the Oppo R7 will surely be as clear as it could get. Its rear camera is packed with a 13MP autofocus camera with phase detection feature and Ultra HD modes for recording, while its front camera is at 8MP with the same video recording capability as the primary one. Not only does the R7 topped their own record for the highest pixel shooter in terms of rear camera, they also topped in the highest pixel for a front camera across the market.
Bigger Body Bigger Battery
Oppo has finally addressed the consumers call for a better battery capacity which the Oppo R5 didn’t have. The Oppo R7 now boasts a 2320 mAh battery capacity, giving it more endurance to get by the day with less frequent charging.
