Good build quality, Replaceable parts, Clear and warm sound,
Stock cord is too long, Unattractive design, Not really comfortable
Most high-end headphones lose value very fast and if you sell yours 1 year later, you often receive just half the amount you paid for it. However, there are some headphones that are not discounted at all throughout the years, even after nearly two decades...

This all started when I got a HD600 loaner from Jay. I told him I haven’t listened to the HD600 for a while, and asked him if I can borrow his HD600. Being the generous guy that Jay is, the HD600 arrived at my desk without much delay. The HD600 is simi...

Sennheisers high-end open-air headphones deliver deep bass, luxuriously padded ear cups, and a replaceable cord for a more economical price than their flagship model.
Expensive; not the best solution for portable listening; gray and black plastic finish doesnt scream high end.
The Sennheiser HD 600 headphones are a good choice for home listening if youre willing to pay for high quality sound.

Reference sound quality that can’t be beat for the price. Sennheiser’s reference headphones have been surpassed by the new HD650s, but the HD600 remain a real bargain. Exceptional build quality.
Have been surpassed by the new HD650s. Slightly uncomfortable. Somewhat forward sounding.
The former reference is still better than what 95% of the planet is listening to and that's the truth, Ruth. The Sennheiser HD600 headphones came onto the market about 10 years ago and set off a revolution, or at least fed one.In a world of competing so...

Previously the flagship model of Sennheisers headphone range (excluding the infamous HE90, which can cost upwards of $15,000 in the Orpheus combination), the HD600s now play second fiddle to the HD650s. Despite no longer being top dog however, these h...
