The film directorial debut of Malaysian singer-songwriter Tan Kheng Seong (a.k.a. Ah Niu, Summer Holiday) is quite a coup, considering that he has poured his all into this for the last seven years, breaking his piggybank and mortgaging his house to fund the project. He managed to land almost all the top pop artists of the country in the cast of Ice Kacang Puppy Love. The acclaimed romantic hit boasts a stellar lineup of Malaysian stars, including Ah Niu himself, award-winning Best Actress Angelica Lee, Fish Leong, Gary Chaw, Victor Wong, Yi Jet Qi, Penny Tai, Nicholas Teo, and Eric Moo, some of them making their acting debuts in this film. More impressive is the fact that besides directing and acting, Ah Niu also took on the film scoring duties, and penned the nostalgic story of a pure first love in a simpler time when people didn't communicate through cell phone, email, or MSN.

Perpetually happy-go-lucky Jackie Chan gets serious in Crime Story, a riveting police action film directed by Kirk Wong (Organized Crime and Triad Bureau). Inspector Eddie Chan (Jackie Chan) is a brilliant, but emotionally troubled cop assigned to protect a real-estate mogul (Law Kar Ying) who's been threatened with kidnapping. Unfortunately, despite Eddie's best efforts, he's unable to prevent the abduction. His emotions nearing a breaking point, Eddie is paired with fellow cop Hung (Kent Cheng) to track the kidnappers to Taiwan, but circumstances seem to be working against them. The investigation gets impeded at every turn, and there may even be some cops working against Eddie...

Based on an actual kidnapping case, Crime Story represents Jackie Chan's most serious work to date. Here, Jackie Chan portrays a hard-boiled, serious cop who's excellent at his job, but cannot take the consequences of his work emotionally. The passion and heartbreak of Eddie Chan are as vital to Crime Story as any of the action sequences, though those happen too. Kirk Wong's experience with the crime genre brings an authentic edge to the film, but it's Jackie Chan's wrenching performance that turns heads. Crime Story earned Jackie Chan a Best Actor Award at the Taiwan Golden Horse Awards, and proves to his fans and non-fans alike that there's more to Jackie Chan than just action.

Written and produced by Wong Jing, breezy gangster actioner Bullet & Brain is the kind of entertaining genre hodgepodge that only Hong Kong can do so well. At times serious, at times silly, this fast-paced film is anchored with charismatic performances from Best Actor trio Eric Tsang, Anthony Wong, and Francis Ng. Wong and Ng, in particular, get to strut their stuff as the opaquely cool titular outlaws, Bullet and Brain. The veterans lead the way for their younger co-stars - Alex Fong (Love is Not All Around) and newcomer actresses Tiffany Tang, Liu Yang, and Liu Yuan Yuan - who help bring some youthful energy to the proceedings. Helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Keung Kwok Man, Bullet & Brain rolls action, drama, comedy, and romance together into a tight, unpredictable, and enjoyable roller coaster of a movie.

Triad boss Principal meets an untimely demise when his protege Winston (Andrew Wu) betrays him. Before his death, he left his Swiss bank account password to his granddaughter Rain (Tiffany Tang), who now becomes Winston's next target. Winston needs the money to cut a deal with another mob boss (Eric Tsang), and he's willing to use any means to get it. Rookie cop Fei (Alex Fong) is assigned to protect Rain, but he's more bumbling than brave and both are soon in deep waters with Winston's gang on the hunt. Luckily, the Principal also left Rain a torn bill that if sent out would bring the aid of his old friends, legendary criminals Bullet (Francis Ng) and Brain (Anthony Wong). The sharp-minded, sharp-shooting duo haven't been seen in years, but they're back with guns a-blazing to save Rain. The only problem: they vowed years ago to never kill or lie again.

Kam & Ronson Enterprises Co Ltd The Monkey King 2 (2016) (Blu-ray) (Hong Kong Version)
HK$ 241.00
Released in cinemas during the 2016 Lunar New Year holiday, The Monkey King 2 continues the blockbuster fantasy epic based on the oft-adapted literary classic Journey to the West. Aaron Kwok, who played the Buffalo Demon King in Soi Cheang's 2014 film, dons the monkey suit to play the powerful and mischievous Monkey King Sun Wukong in the sequel, while William Feng (Wolf Totem) joins the series as the monk who leads them on the journey to the west. With a darker story and improved visual effects, The Monkey King 2 is bigger and better, and covers some of the saga's most famous chapters including the encounter with the White Bone Demon, stunningly portrayed by Gong Li.

Five hundred years after raising havoc in heaven, Sun Wukong (Aaron Kwok) is released from his mountain prison by monk Xuanzang (William Feng) who has been tasked by the Goddess of Mercy to retrieve holy sutras from the Western Region. To atone for their sins, Wukong and his fellow disciples, river ogre Sha Wujing (Him Law, Young and Dangerous: Reloaded) and amorous pig demon Zhu Baijie (comedian Xiao Shenyang, The Grandmaster), are to accompany and protect Xuanzang on this long and dangerous pilgrimage. However, many perils await them on the road including the notorious, shape-shifting demoness Lady White (Gong Li) who has set her eyes on Xuanzang's flesh.

This edition comes with making-of, trailer and theme song music video.

Director Derek Chiu (Love Au Zen) and screenwriter Aubrey Lam (Hidden Track) collaborate on Love Trilogy, an intelligent and refreshingly mature light drama about the trials of three couples in varying stages of love. Award-winning Hong Kong actors Francis Ng and Anita Yuen star as a bickering Hong Kong married couple who celebrate their seventh anniversary by taking a tour of Kunming, China. However, tensions are high, and possible divorce is in the offing. Meanwhile, a newlywed couple (Lu Yu and Han Xiao) is on the same tour, and find their newly-married status tested by their continued companionship. A Korean couple (Oh Ji Ho and Yun Re Yi) rounds out the "trilogy", but they may not even get to marriage, as fundamental differences seem to be making themselves known. Popular Chinese starlet Ruby Lin (Princess Returning Pearl) is on board as their tour guide, who offers insight and even unexpected personal complications with the three couples. Thanks to Aubrey Lam's intelligent script and Derek Chiu's sensitive direction, Love Trilogy is an uncommon film about the sometimes difficult realities of modern love and marriage.

One of the most popular hits in Johnnie To's extraordinary filmography, Running Out of Time (1999) undoubtedly set the benchmark in Hong Kong crime capers. It was followed two years later by an even more slickly produced sequel co-directed by To and his disciple Law Wing Cheong, who would go on to become a brilliant director in his own right. Lau Ching Wan reprises his role as a persistent policeman to face off against another righteous robber, this time played by Ekin Cheng. Co-starring Kelly Lin, Hui Siu Hung, Lam Suet, and Ruby Wong, the tight-paced action thriller sequel won Best Film Editing and Best Action Choreography at the 39th Golden Horse Awards.

In Running Out of Time 2, police senior inspector Ho Sheung Sang (Lau Ching Wan) is challenged to a game of cat-and-mouse by a mysterious thief (Ekin Cheng), who has hatched an elaborate plan to extort a king's ransom out of insurance company executive Teresa (Kelly Lin). The elusive thief always manages to stay one step ahead thanks to his bottomless bag of magic tricks, and in order to catch him, Ho must figure out his next move - and the motive behind his game.

Kam & Ronson Enterprises Co Ltd Happy Together - All About My Dog (2011) (Blu-ray) (English Subtitled) (Hong Kong Version)
HK$ 171.00
In 2005, omnibus film All About My Dog offered eight short films about the bond between human and dogs. Six years later, producer Ichise Takashige brings together six new directors for Happy Together - All About My Dog, a new set of shorts about man's best friend. In addition to veteran director Nagasaki Junichi (Heart, Beating in the Dark, the directors list also includes some of the best directors in the advertising and music video fields. Acting with the adorable dogs is a star-studded cast that includes Omori Nao (Golden Slumbers), Matsushima Nanako (Ring), Akira Nakao (Godzilla: Final Wars), Kitano Kie (Bandage), and popular child star Ashida Mana.

While the stories all feature adorable dogs, they mainly cover two genres. Representing the tearjerkers are Nagasaki Junichi's Inu no Namae - about a man (Omori Nao) fighting a difficult illness with the support of his wife (Matsushima Nanako) and their dog Lucky - and Eto Hisashi's Vanilla no Kakera, about a girl (Kitano Kie) mourning the death of her beloved dog. Meanwhile, representing the comedies are Kawanishi Jun's Dog Nap - about police officers who get called in for the abduction of a dog - Mizuochi Yutaka's Akira - starring actor Nakao Akira as himself - Nakanishi Naoto's wacky mockumentary Aikenka wo Tazunete, and Ishii Soichi's Okansan wa Shinpaisho - about a woman's anxiety after leaving her dog home alone for the first time.

Bruce Lee stars as a Shaolin Monk named Lee, who's hired by British Intelligence to journey to the island fortress of an evil drug lord named Han (Shih Kien). Luckily, Han is holding a martial arts tournament, providing the martial arts-ready Lee with the perfect cover to infiltrate the island. Lee meets up with a variety of would-be kung-fu champions, including conman Roper (John Saxon), and afro-sporting king of cool Williams (Jim Kelly). Phobia

Playing on the word "phobia", Thai blockbuster 4 Bia is an anthology horror film that lines up four masters of the macabre, each directing a short segment that is self-contained but also cross-referencing with one another.

"Happiness" by Yongyoot Thongkongtoon (Iron Ladies) concerns a lonely woman who receives SMS messages from the netherworld. "Tit for Tat" by Paween Purijitpanya (Body) tells the tale of a gang of teenage bullies getting cursed by one of their victims. "In the Middle" by Banjong Pisanthanakun (Alone) has four young men going on a wild camp scaring each other with their ghost stories. "Last Fright" by Pakpoom Wongpoom (Shutter) is about a flight attendant who is assigned to return a dead body to its home country on a chartered flight on her own.

Phobia 2

Thai horror anthology Phobia (a.k.a. 4bia) made a big splash in cinemas in 2008, and its sequel arrived a year after, shattering Thailand's box-office records once again. The sequel one-ups its previous chapter by offering five chilling shorts in total. The original's horror masters all come back for the sequel under the lead of producer Yongyoot Thongkongtoon (Iron Ladies). Paween Purijitpunya (Body), Parkpoom Wongpoom (Shutter), and Banjong Pisonthanakun (Alone) return to helm a segment each alongside Songyos Sugmakanan (Dorm) and veteran producer Wisoot Poolworraluck (Nang-Nak) who serve up the other two parts.

In "Novice", a young punk goes hiding in a Buddhist monastery to evade the law but his criminal past comes back to haunt him. In "Ward", a teenager wishes he was alone the night he is in the hospital ward with an old man in a coma. In "Backpackers", a pair of Japanese backpackers in Thailand are dying to know what's inside the trailer of the truck they hitchhike on. In "Salvage", a car dealer refurbishes damaged cars and sells them to unsuspecting bargain hunters. "In the End", a movie crew making a horror pic continues with the shoot even after the actress dies for real during the last scene.

Third time's the charm as the Kung Fu Mahjong franchise returns for another round with Kung Fu Mahjong 3 - The Final Duel. Directed by Bosco Lam, the film features the usual suspects - television star Roger Kwok (Square Pegs) who skipped out on the sequel but returns for the third film, kung fu duo Yuen Wah and Yuen Qiu, and, of course, writer and producer Wong Jing. Kung Fu Mahjong 3 bears no connection to the previous films save for the cast and the love for the tiles. Roger Kwok is supported by a welcome line-up of faces not usually seen on the big screen including TVB starlet and former Miss Hong Kong Shirley Yeung in her film debut, veteran comedic actor Ha Yu, ATV actress Patricia Liu, and stylish ATV actor Ricky Chan Bo Yuen (Confession of Pain). Comedic mainstays DJ Sammy, Wong Yat Fei, and Nat Chan also wander in for some humorous hijinks. Like the previous two films, Kung Fu Mahjong 3 - The Final Duel is light, energetic, and hilarious, providing plenty of good old harmless fun.

As the son of the legendary Uncle Man (Ha Yu), suave mahjong expert Ken (Roger Kwok) is the de-facto successor to his father's mahjong business and gambling title. It seems love is in the air for both father and son, as Uncle Man saunters in with his new young wife Sophie (Patricia Liu) and Ken meets the charming Nancy (Shirley Yeung). The good times quickly run dry though when it turns out that Nancy is a bad luck magnet who brings calamity to all she comes in contact with. Stricken with some serious bad luck, Ken just can't stop losing. Meanwhile, the cunning Sophie, working in cahoots with rival Bowie (Ricky Chan), tries to usurp the family business by challenging Ken to a high-stakes mahjong match. Can Ken overcome his losing streak in time to save the business?

HK$ 187.00
Two years after the elegant biopic Forever Enthralled, Farewell My Concubine director Chen Kaige takes on an epic story that has been dubbed the Chinese Hamlet. Sacrifice is based on the Yuan Dynasty play The Orphan of Zhao, which has been reinterpreted multiple times in the west as The Orphan of China. Bringing the story back to China, Chen has made slight changes to his own take on this tale of unspeakable sacrifice and revenge with scenes of spectacle, but he also retains the power of the story by maintaining an intimate focus on its key characters. One of China's most popular actors, Ge You leads a star-studded cast as a doctor who rescues the lone survivor of a massacre at the price of his own family for the sake of revenge. Also joining him are Wang Xueqi (Bodyguards and Assassins), Huang Xiaoming (The Message), Fan Bingbing (Lost in Beijing), and Zhang Fengyi (Red Cliff). Released in the intensely competitive year-end period in 2010, Sacrifice became one of the highest-grossing films of 2010 in China and one of Chen's most commercially successful films.

Jealous of the accomplishments of the Zhao family in the court of Duke Ling, General Tuan (Wang Xueqi) sets off an elaborate plan that leads to the massacre of the Zhao family. Before committing suicide, General Zhao's wife Zhuang (Fan Bingbing) asks family doctor Cheng Ying (Ge You) to help give birth to her son and take him to family friend Gong (Zhang Fengyi). With the help of Han Jue (Huang Xiaoming), Cheng Ying is able to take the baby to temporary safety. However, when Tuan manages to track Cheng Ying down, Cheng Ying convinces his wife to switch his own child with the Zhao baby to protect the bloodline, leading to the death of his family. Raising the Zhao child under Tuan's nose, Cheng Ying carefully plans his revenge...

Young and Dangerous hero Ekin Cheng breaks the speed limit in the entertaining racing drama The Legend of Speed. Directed by Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs, The Storm Riders), the film stars Cheng as Sky, a rebellious street racer whose cocky demeanor and sometimes brash behavior make him a prime candidate for a fall. Sky receives his comeuppance when a race against ex-con Fung (Simon Yam) results in tragic consequences. Exiled to Thailand, Sky meets his wayward father (Blacky Ko), who helps Sky reconnect to the philosophical side of his racing talent. Reinvigorated and wiser, Sky plans to return to Hong Kong for a rematch with Fung, only to discover that his past has caught up with him, perhaps fatally. Featuring an all-star cast of Hong Kong entertainment stars, including Cecilia Cheung (The Promise), Kelly Lin (After This, Our Exile), Patrick Tam (Beast Cops, and Moses Chan (TVB's Heart of Greed), Legend of Speed features thrilling racing sequences and a cool central performance by Ekin Cheng, whose string of late nineties box-office hits made him Hong Kong's most bankable young actor. The film was a large success, pulling in over HK$19 million at the box office during the Christmas 1999 movie season, paving the way for director Andrew Lau's later racing blockbuster Initial D.

The Phantom of the Opera is a faithful adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's blockbuster stage musical. The exquisite scenes are just as amazing.

Emmy Rossum glows in her role as the opera genius Christine Daae, and Gerard Butler successfully convey the menace and sensuality as the Phantom through his acting as well as his songs. The most experienced musical theater veteran in the cast, romantic lead Patrick Wilson, sings sweetly in the film which charms Daae and the audience alike. The Phantom of the Opera also features diva Minnie Driver who has her voice dubbed in the film but sings the closing-credit number.

HK$ 152.00
Few Taiwan films are more anticipated than Wei Te Sheng's 2011 historical epic Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale, based on the true story of the 1930 Wushe Incident, when the aboriginal Seediq peoples rebelled against Japanese imperialist forces. Topping the critical and commercial success of Cape No. 7 would be difficult for Wei Te Sheng, but Taiwan's top-grossing director meets the challenge head-on with this ambitious and powerful two-part epic. Produced by John Woo, Seediq Bale required US$25 million for its lush period detail and riveting action sequences, making it the biggest endeavor in the history of Taiwan cinema. Breaking opening day records, the sweeping blockbuster was Taiwan's highest-grossing homegrown film of 2011 and the winner of Best Film at the 48th Golden Horse Awards.

Seediq Bale Part 1 sows the seeds for the film's powerful final conflict, depicting how the Seediq people are demoralized and finally reborn by their continued subjugation by the Japanese. Stripped of their native hunting grounds and forced to work deforesting the very mountains they called home, the rival Seediq tribes rallied together and violently rose up against years of Japanese repression in the 1930 Wushe Incident.

Shown in competition at the 68th Venice International Film Festival, Seediq Bale was shot primarily in the Seediq language, with some Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Japanese. Seediq priest Lin Ching Tai stars as the leader of the revolt, legendary warrior Mona Rudao, whose image is on Taiwan's 20NT coin today. Japanese actor Ando Masanobu (The Butcher, The Chef & The Swordsman), television actor and director Umin Boya, Golden Horse Best Supporting Actor winner Bokeh Kosang, Cape No. 7's Tanaka Chie, and singers Landy Wen, Irene Luo, and Vivian Hsu (Hot Summer Days) are among the film's large ensemble cast of name stars and non-professional actors.

This release includes Part I of Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale and an interview with John Woo and Wei Te Sheng.

Hong Kong director Gary Mak mixes the city's favorite genres: police, sex and comedy all into one brew in his latest work SDU: Sex Duties Unit. Produced by Pang Ho Cheung, the films reminds of Pang's 2003 hit Men Suddenly In Black which takes on four men's extramarital affairs in Hong Kong; this time, the concept is similar but the setting has been changed to the Vegas of Asia, Macau. After failing an elite selection, the four-member "Special" Duties Unit played by Chapman To, Shawn Yue, Chow Hoi Kwong and Derek Tsang switch their focus from fighting crimes to a battle of pleasures.

The Special Duties Unit is the elite paramilitary tactical unit of the Hong Kong Police Force with the goal to counter terrorism and the most notorious and dangerous of criminals. After a disappointing international selection process, four members of the B team, Keung (Chapman To), Fu (Shawn Yue), Ho (Chow Hoi Kwong) and Mic (Derek Tsang), organize a private mission codenamed "Sex War." Hiding their true identities, the team illegally sneaks into Macau to visit the bordellos. Their seamless plan, however, is met with an unexpected anti-vice operation. To avoid charges, the four of them work together to break out of prison, turning their ambitious sex mission into a hilarious emergency escape plan

Action-comedy superstar Jackie Chan is in fine comic form in Dragon Lord an early eighties showcase for the budding star that was directed by Chan himself! Jackie Chan is Lung, a playful and mischievous youth who spends his days hanging around with his pal Chin (Mars), foolishly pursuing women, and engaging in sports instead of going to school like he should be doing. But Lung and Chin are drawn into a devious plot to smuggle Chinese treasures to foreign lands, leading to numerous chases, escapes, and finally a barn brawl that's choreographed in vintage Jackie Chan style! A young and delightfully spry Jackie Chan makes Dragon Lord an early gem in the superstar's legendary career. Some of Chan's most impressive stuntwork is featured here, along with the beginnings of his trademark action-comedy style. But there are martial arts too, and also the winning Jackie Chan comic charm, which was evident even during the early eighties. Dragon Lord isn't just an entertaining action-comedy, but also an essential film in Jackie Chan's already packed library of classics!

Jet Li tries something new with Hitman, an action comedy with a surprisingly charming performance from the action superstar! Fu (Jet Li) is an ex-soldier whose honesty and goodness is a little unusual for someone so adept at acrobatic kung-fu fighting. When a low-rent triad (Eric Tsang) discovers Fu's fighting prowess, he entreats the gentle tough guy to help him score a 100 million dollar bounty placed on the "King of Assassins," who just offed a high-ranking Japanese crimelord. But with such a large sum of cash up for grabs, hitmen of all shapes and sizes appear out of the woodwork to claim the reward for themselves! Factoring into the mess are Simon Yam as a dapper cop assigned to chase the multiplying hitmen, and cute Gigi Leung as Jet Li's adorable love interest. Director Stephen Tung intercuts the laughs with finely-choreographed action sequences, and the ace Hong Kong stars provide necessary charm and charisma. Hitman is a decidedly different, and wildly entertaining action comedy!

After some high-profile roles on the big screen (Ang Lee's Lust, Caution and Jackie Chan blockbuster Little Big Soldier), Taiwan pop king Leehom Wang achieves a major breakthrough in his cinematic career with Love in Disguise. Making his movie directorial debut and co-writing the script, Leehom puts his talent in finding resonance with the audience to good use through the visual media. The superstar doesn't leave his idol charisma idle either, taking the lead role in the romantic comedy with co-stars Liu Yifei (The Forbidden Kingdom), Qiao Zhenyu (Confucius), Chen Han Tien (Monga), and "Super Girl" singer-songwriter Zeng Yike. Renowned actress Joan Chen (Lust, Caution) makes a vital supporting appearance and there are some unexpected star cameos, too.

Sharing the writing duties are idol drama screenwriters Du Sin Yi (My Queen) and Chen Hung Chieh (Hi My Sweetheart), who give the genre conventions an art-mimics-life twist drawing parallels with reality. The film features Leehom as big-time pop star Du Minghan, who yearns for a simpler life free of packed schedules and relentless paparazzi. He enrolls himself in a music academy in the guise of a scruffy-looking student so that nobody recognizes him. But love isn't something that can be concealed when he meets adorable classmate Song Xiaoqing (Liu Yifei). Also responsible for the soundtrack of the film, Leehom has earned himself a Best Original Film Song nomination at the 47th Golden Horse Awards with the theme song "All the Things You Never Knew".

The clothes make the man in the hilarious comedy The Handsome Suit, the first feature from commercial director Hanabusa Tsutomu. Based on a novel by Suzuki Osami, The Handsome Suit serves as a starring vehicle for slight and portly television comedian Tsukaji Muga from The Mamiya Brothers. Tanihara Shosuke (Lovely Complex) plays his handsome counterpart in a side-tickling self-parodying performance. Also co-starring The Mamiya Brothers' Kitagawa Keiko, The Handsome Suit loads in the visual and verbal gags for a laughing good time at the movies.

Diner owner Takuro (Tsukaji Muga) is the star in the kitchen with his fabulous cooking skills, but his below-average appearances make him a dud with the ladies. While renting a tux for his friend's wedding, Takuro ends up with a "handsome suit" that magically transforms him into a tall and dashing hunk (Tanihara Shosuke)! Suddenly, the world's at Takuro's feet as he becomes the hottest male model on the scene and the apple of every woman's eyes. But it's not so easy juggling two lives, especially when his suit keeps threatening to malfunction and reveal his true face.

One of Anita Mui's most acclaimed performances is the title role in Kawashima Yoshiko, a sweeping 1990 biopic about the life and death of the Manchurian princess executed as a Japanese agent in 1948. Based on a book by acclaimed author Lilian Lee (Farewell my Concubine, Green Snake) and costarring the one and only Andy Lau, Kawashima Yoshiko carries a lot of cinematic clout, not the least of which is Mui's nuanced portrayal of one of the most complicated and controversial figures of modern Chinese history. Kawashima was reviled as a ruthless traitor for much of the twentieth century, but this thoughtful film demands a rethinking of the tragic circumstances that led the last Chinese princess - and her country - down the road to ruin.

Born less than five years before the fall of the Qing dynasty, Princess Dongzhen grows up in Japan, where she is indoctrinated into the emerging fascist regime. After being callously forced into a political marriage to a Mongolian prince, Dongzhen - now called Kawashima Yoshiko - swears to take vengeance on the world that discarded her. As an agent for the Japanese, Kawashima ruthlessly sets out to re-establish the Manchurian royal family, eventually becoming a general in the Imperial Japanese army. Unleashing a bloody reign of terror on her former countrymen, Kawashima succeeds in securing her place in history, but as the war draws towards its inevitable conclusion, the former princess finds herself trapped in a deadly web of her own devising.

HK$ 311.00
Korean Wave superstar Lee Min Ho of Boys Over Flowers and Heirs fame makes his Chinese film debut in the globe-trotting comedic action thriller Bounty Hunters. The China-Korea co-production is helmed by Korean director Shin Tae Ra, who carved a niche in action comedies with his previous two films My Girlfriend is an Agent and Runway Cop. Lee Min Ho is joined by Wallace Chung (Three), Tiffany Tang (MBA Partners), Karena Ng (Wong Ka Yan) and Fan Siu Wong (Ip Man) to form a team of bounty hunters who fight against terrorists.

San (Lee Min Ho) and Yo (Wallace Chung) work as bodyguards-for-hire in Hong Kong, but business isn't exactly booming for these bumbling buddies. The two head to South Korea for a mysterious job protecting a reporter, but a hotel bombing leaves the client dead and sends them on the run as suspects. While hightailing it, San and Yo cross paths with a trio of bounty hunters led by heiress Cat (Tiffany Tang). After some squabbling, they decide to team up to catch the unhinged culprit behind the serial bombings.

This edition comes with a folded Lee Min Ho poster as well as making-of features, trailers and still gallery.

Jackie Chan completists all need to check out Cannonball Run, the Hong Kong superstar's 1981 shot at crossover Hollywood stardom! A packed cast of Hollywood names, including Burt Reynolds, Dom DeLuise, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Roger Moore and Farrah Fawcett, play frontmen for the supporting Chan, who does his action-comedy bit as a Japanese car racer out to win the "Cannonball Run", a cross-country car race that's as hilarious and action-packed as it is illegal. Running engineer on Chan's souped-up Subaru is none other than Hong Kong comedy master Michael Hui, who brings his deadpan comedy genius to the table. Jackie Chan is only given one real fight sequence, but what a sequence it is! He gets to beat up a group of Hell's Angels (led by Easy Rider Peter Fonda) in a scene that's vintage Jackie Chan. As for the rest of the film, it's sexy, silly, madcap stuff that ran wild at the American box-office in the early eighties. Still, for fans of Jackie Chan - and probably Burt Reynolds - Cannonball Run still qualifies as a must see.
