Kung fu cops, ruthless gangsters, and sexy babes battle zombies in a post-apocalyptic Taipei! Touted as the first zombie movie in Taiwan cinema, Zombie 108 gleefully embraces the genre in the spirit of the best B-movies. Writer-director Joe Chien (Gangster Rock) and actor-producer Morris Rong (Crazy Racer) raised the principal fund on Facebook, and they made sure every penny went into the production which is filled with an outrageous amount of blood and gore, violence, and gratuitous nudity to keep even the most discerning fans entertained. Invited to the International Fantastic Film Festivals in Brussels and Puchon, the controversial cult film stars gorgeous model Yvonne Yao, veteran actors Tai Bo and Jack Kao, and Hong Kong action star Dennis To (The Legend is Born - Ip Man). Rong and Chien also make crucial appearances in the Restricted-rated splatterfest.

The outbreak of a mutated virus in Taipei has prompted the government to order evacuation of the God-forsaken city while sending a SWAT team into Ximending to eradicate the triad gang occupying the district, who is oblivious to the chaos outside. Surrounded by hordes of flesh-eating zombies, the few surviving gangsters, law enforcers, and civilians are forced into an uneasy alliance... Barely escaping an assault of the undead, beautiful young widow Linda (Yvonne Yao) finds herself in another dire situation, falling into the trap of a pervert (Joe Chien) who takes advantage of the anarchy to kidnap girls from the streets before sexually abusing them in his private torture chamber...

In the 1980s Jackie Chan starred in a handful of English-language Golden Harvest movies catered for the international market, among those were Battle Creek Brawl (1980), Cannonball Run (1981), and The Protector (1985). Written and directed by James Glickenhaus, The Protector cast Chan and American actor Danny Aiello (Do the Right Thing) as a pair of NYPD cops. They are sent to Hong Kong to catch a drug lord who has kidnapped the daughter of his former criminal associate, and, naturally, big fights ensue. Co-starring kung fu actress Moon Lee and Roy Chiao, the crime action thriller is quite unlike the usual action comedy fare Chan is famous for, but it does feature Hollywood-styled action scenes sprinkled with Chan's death-defying stunts.

HK$ 163.00
Comedy kingpin Wong Jing directs superstar funnyman Stephen Chow in the hilarious blockbuster comedy hit, Sixty Million Dollar Man! Stephen Chow is an egotistical, spoiled rich kid who spends his days degrading others with his wit, his wealth, or maybe just a well-placed kick to groin. Since he obviously deserves it, the selfish trickster gets his comeuppance when he's severely beaten by jealous rivals. However, thanks to the help of crazy scientist Elvis Tsui, he gets reborn as a silly cyborg with the ability to reshape his body into a variety of deadly household products (!). Now more powerful than ever, our hero resolves to be a better man - though he still has time to get revenge on the bad guys AND romance the scientist's pretty daughter (Gigi Leung). Laughs, screwy special effects, and some surprising movie parodies (Watch for a riff on the dance sequence from Pulp Fiction!) are just some of the hilarious nonsense on display in Sixty Million Dollar Man!

After some high-profile roles on the big screen (Ang Lee's Lust, Caution and Jackie Chan blockbuster Little Big Soldier), Taiwan pop king Leehom Wang achieves a major breakthrough in his cinematic career with Love in Disguise. Making his movie directorial debut and co-writing the script, Leehom puts his talent in finding resonance with the audience to good use through the visual media. The superstar doesn't leave his idol charisma idle either, taking the lead role in the romantic comedy with co-stars Liu Yifei (The Forbidden Kingdom), Qiao Zhenyu (Confucius), Chen Han Tien (Monga), and "Super Girl" singer-songwriter Zeng Yike. Renowned actress Joan Chen (Lust, Caution) makes a vital supporting appearance and there are some unexpected star cameos, too.

Sharing the writing duties are idol drama screenwriters Du Sin Yi (My Queen) and Chen Hung Chieh (Hi My Sweetheart), who give the genre conventions an art-mimics-life twist drawing parallels with reality. The film features Leehom as big-time pop star Du Minghan, who yearns for a simpler life free of packed schedules and relentless paparazzi. He enrolls himself in a music academy in the guise of a scruffy-looking student so that nobody recognizes him. But love isn't something that can be concealed when he meets adorable classmate Song Xiaoqing (Liu Yifei). Also responsible for the soundtrack of the film, Leehom has earned himself a Best Original Film Song nomination at the 47th Golden Horse Awards with the theme song "All the Things You Never Knew".

Kam & Ronson Enterprises Co Ltd Police Story (1985) (Blu-ray) (Hong Kong Version)
HK$ 179.00
It all begins here! Director-star Jackie Chan's celebrated Police Story series began with this classic action comedy, which features the inimitable Jackie Chan charm and some of the most spectacular action sequences ever put to film. Jackie Chan is cop Chan Ka Kui, who's assigned to guard beautiful witness Selina (Brigitte Lin), the girlfriend of evil drug kingpin Chor Yuen. Selina's presence causes some friction between Chan and his petulant girlfriend May (international star Maggie Cheung), but when the bad guys come-a-calling, all that gets left behind. Glass breaks, bones crunch, and anything and everything becomes a weapon in Police Story!

A seminal film even in Jackie Chan's incredibly action-packed filmography, Police Story redefined action films with its undeniably creative and exquisitely choreographed mayhem. Unbelievable stunts and breathtaking set-pieces set the tone in this award-winning film, which earned a Best Picture award at the 5th Annual Hong Kong Film Awards. Action to watch for includes an amazing car chase through a hillside shantytown, a stunt-filled chase with Jackie Chan hanging onto a bus with only an umbrella, and a simply mind-blowing finale in a shopping center, which could qualify as a world record for collateral damage via punches, kicks, or people simply falling through glass. All the above, plus Jackie Chan's generous comic persona, are present and accounted for in Police Story!

Comes with outtakes and photo gallery.

A box office hit in Korea, Love Fiction realistically follows the stages of a relationship, from love at first sight and courtship to affection and fallout. Ha Jung Woo (Yellow Sea) and Kong Hyo Jin (Crush and Blush) star in this charming yet biting romantic comedy directed by Jeon Gye Soo (Midnight Ballad for Ghost Theater). Told mainly from the perspective of Ha Jung Woo's struggling novelist, the film reveals what goes on inside the oft-immature male mind through narrative voice-over and amusing noir parodies of his detective novel alter ego and the mysterious women in his life. Rising actress Yoo In Na (Secret Garden) also co-stars as the ex-girlfriend.

Failed writer Jool Wol (Ha Jung Woo) needs romance in his life so he can have inspiration for his novel. At a party in Berlin, he falls head over heels for film distributor Hee Jin (Kong Hyo Jin). From her straight-talking manner to her interest in nude photography, Hee Jin walks to a different beat, and Jool Wol is completely smitten. With Hee Jin as his muse, he's also finally over his writer's block. But the rosy relationship begins to go downhill when Jool Wol realizes Hee Jin isn't as perfect as he imagined.

Jet Li tries something new with Hitman, an action comedy with a surprisingly charming performance from the action superstar! Fu (Jet Li) is an ex-soldier whose honesty and goodness is a little unusual for someone so adept at acrobatic kung-fu fighting. When a low-rent triad (Eric Tsang) discovers Fu's fighting prowess, he entreats the gentle tough guy to help him score a 100 million dollar bounty placed on the "King of Assassins," who just offed a high-ranking Japanese crimelord. But with such a large sum of cash up for grabs, hitmen of all shapes and sizes appear out of the woodwork to claim the reward for themselves! Factoring into the mess are Simon Yam as a dapper cop assigned to chase the multiplying hitmen, and cute Gigi Leung as Jet Li's adorable love interest. Kam & Ronson Enterprises Co Ltd Tears (VCD) (Hong Kong Version)
HK$ 55.00
One of the opening films of the 2009 Golden Horse Film Festival, Summer's Tail director Cheng Wen Tang's Tear is a powerful indictment of a dark chapter in Taiwan history. Cheng was inspired by a 1982 incident in which five policemen tortured a suspect in an armed robbery case, driving the innocent man to the point of suicide. Centered on police brutality and the wrongful convictions that resulted from it, the film is the first part of an intended "Justice Trilogy" by Cheng, who plans to uncover other social injustices in Taiwan history. Unflinchingly depicting the gruesome methods of torture used to coerce suspects, the dark character study has also shaken audiences at the Pusan International Film Festival and the Vancouver International Film Festival.

Guo (Cai Zhen Nan, City of Sadness) is a middle-aged detective who hasn't cried in ten years. He's still trying to redeem for his past in suspect torturing. Leading a solitary life away from his estranged family, he instead spends time volunteering at a hospital and chatting with two teenage girls working as street vendors. However, over the course of investigating a homicide, Guo will realize that the sins of the past are not that easy to shed.

The directorial debut of renowned actor Kishitani Goro, Killer Virgin Road is an offbeat road comedy about two women who bond over an unlikely task: dumping a dead body. Many crazy adventures await when these two charming killers hit the road together! The film also co-stars EXILE's Maki Daisuke, Koide Keisuke (Cyborg She), Terawaki Yasufumi (Aibou), Tanaka Kei (Tajomaru), Nakao Akiyoshi (Drop), and Kitamura Kazuki (Suspect X).

Kam & Ronson Enterprises Co Ltd Somewhere I Have Never Travelled (VCD) (Hong Kong Version)
HK$ 55.00
Directed by Fu Tien Yu and produced by Wu Nien Jen, the charming 2009 Taiwan feature Somewhere I Have Never Travelled revolves around a teenage boy and a young girl growing up together in a quiet and remote coastal town. As Hsien (Lin Po Hung) comes to terms with his sexual orientation, Gui (Li Hsin) copes with her confused feelings for Hsien and her color blindness, an affliction that no one around her seems to understand.

Kam & Ronson Enterprises Co Ltd Kung Fu Mahjong 3 - The Final Duel (Hong Kong Version)
HK$ 86.00
Third time's the charm as the Kung Fu Mahjong franchise returns for another round with Kung Fu Mahjong 3 - The Final Duel. Directed by Bosco Lam, the film features the usual suspects - television star Roger Kwok (Square Pegs) who skipped out on the sequel but returns for the third film, kung fu duo Yuen Wah and Yuen Qiu, and, of course, writer and producer Wong Jing. Kung Fu Mahjong 3 bears no connection to the previous films save for the cast and the love for the tiles. Roger Kwok is supported by a welcome line-up of faces not usually seen on the big screen including TVB starlet and former Miss Hong Kong Shirley Yeung in her film debut, veteran comedic actor Ha Yu, ATV actress Patricia Liu, and stylish ATV actor Ricky Chan Bo Yuen (Confession of Pain). Comedic mainstays DJ Sammy, Wong Yat Fei, and Nat Chan also wander in for some humorous hijinks. Like the previous two films, Kung Fu Mahjong 3 - The Final Duel is light, energetic, and hilarious, providing plenty of good old harmless fun.

As the son of the legendary Uncle Man (Ha Yu), suave mahjong expert Ken (Roger Kwok) is the de-facto successor to his father's mahjong business and gambling title. It seems love is in the air for both father and son, as Uncle Man saunters in with his new young wife Sophie (Patricia Liu) and Ken meets the charming Nancy (Shirley Yeung). The good times quickly run dry though when it turns out that Nancy is a bad luck magnet who brings calamity to all she comes in contact with. Stricken with some serious bad luck, Ken just can't stop losing. Meanwhile, the cunning Sophie, working in cahoots with rival Bowie (Ricky Chan), tries to usurp the family business by challenging Ken to a high-stakes mahjong match. Can Ken overcome his losing streak in time to save the business?

HK$ 163.00
Based on her marriage with American writer Tony Laszlo, Oguri Saori's ongoing autobiographical comic series Darling wa Gaikokujin (a.k.a. Is He Turning Japanese?) became immensely popular in Japan thanks to its sharp, humorous observations on international marriages in Japan. After five books, the series is hitting the big screen with My Darling is a Foreigner, starring Inoue Mao (Hana Yori Dango) and American actor Jonathan Sherr (who speaks fluent Japanese) as the loving couple. Writer Oshima Satomi (Kafoo - Waiting for Happiness) and longtime ad director Ue Kazuaki take a relatively serious approach to the material, dealing with the conflicts that arise from an intercultural marriage, but the two also retain the hilarious observations of the original manga with plenty of comical charm.

Life is good for aspiring manga artist Saori (Inoue Mao) and writer Tony (Jonathan Sherr): They're head over heels in love, they've moved into a home together, and they're even considering marriage. But there's one little problem: Saori's father (Kunimura Jun) disapproves of the relationship. From there, misunderstandings begin to build between the two, putting their relationship in danger. Will Saori and Tony be able to get over their cultural barrier and stay together?

From producer Wei Te Sheng and his Seediq Bale star Umin Boya (making his film directorial debut) comes Kano, a rousing tale of courage, beating the odds and good sportsmanship. Based on the inspiring true story of Taiwan's greatest baseball team, Kano chronicles the journey of a small-town high school baseball team from underdogs to champions during the Japanese colonial period. Leading a young cast that includes breakout star Tsao Yu Ning, Nagase Masatoshi (Twilight Samurai) gives a commanding performance as a stern baseball coach who leads and inspires the team into history. Nominated for six Golden Horse Awards (including Best Picture) and the winner of the festival's Audience Award, Kano is an inspiring blockbuster epic about the glory of sports.

Kano is set in the 1930s in the city of Chiayi (or Kagi at the time), known for a flourishing agricultural industry. However, the baseball team of Kagi Agriculture and Forestry Public School (abbreviated as "Kano") comprised of students of Taiwanese, aboriginal and Japanese origins suffers from a losing record and a lack of motivation. Newly arrived from Japan to teach bookkeeping at the school, Kondo (Nagase Masatoshi) is recruited to become the team's new coach. A former baseball player who has quit the game for good, Kondo eventually agrees and puts the team on a strict training regimen. Inspired by their new coach's enthusiasm, the boys start winning games with their eyes set on the Koshien tournament, the Holy Grail of Japanese high school baseball.

This edition includes making of, audio commentary and trailers. It also comes with a t-shirt.

Director Derek Chiu (Love Au Zen) and screenwriter Aubrey Lam (Hidden Track) collaborate on Love Trilogy, an intelligent and refreshingly mature light drama about the trials of three couples in varying stages of love. Award-winning Hong Kong actors Francis Ng and Anita Yuen star as a bickering Hong Kong married couple who celebrate their seventh anniversary by taking a tour of Kunming, China. However, tensions are high, and possible divorce is in the offing. Meanwhile, a newlywed couple (Lu Yu and Han Xiao) is on the same tour, and find their newly-married status tested by their continued companionship. A Korean couple (Oh Ji Ho and Yun Re Yi) rounds out the "trilogy", but they may not even get to marriage, as fundamental differences seem to be making themselves known. Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung, now internationally famed action stars, collaborated to make Heart of Dragon in 1986. Apart from the stunning action that normally appears in their movies, Heart of Dragon also has some touching moments when it comes to depicting the brotherhood between a cop (Jackie Chan) and his mentally challenged brother (Sammo Hung). Sammo Hung received a Best Director nomination and Jackie Chan got a Best Actor nomination for Heart of Dragon at the 5th Hong Kong Film Awards.

Films starring Jackie Chan and Sammo are often hard-boiled action or action comedies. However, Heart of Dragon, with its touching moments especially in the first half of the film, may be regarded as an unprecedented attempt of blending comedy, action, and melodrama. The film Rainman made three years later features a similar plot but without the action part. The movie follows a cop named Tat (Jackie Chan) who has always wanted to work as a sailor but he stays in the police force so as to have more time for his brother (Sammo Hung). Just when Tat prepares to quit his job, his brother gets involved in a robbery and is kidnapped...

Kam & Ronson Enterprises Co Ltd Kung Fu Mahjong 3 - The Final Duel (Hong Kong Version)
HK$ 55.00

The Cases's original film title, a Chinese character meaning the "worship of ghosts and gods", perhaps better illustrates what the movie is all about. Hong Kong supernatural specialist Edmond Poon leads actress Wylie Chiu, singer Khloe Chu, and Malaysian model Brandy Akiko to boldly go where no sane man has gone before - some of the most infamous "forbidden places" in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Bali (Indonesia) - in this Category-III shocker. Supported on their spooky journey by several Southeast Asian exorcists and witchcraft experts, the courageous crew makes close encounters with the supernatural world to get first-hand, never-before-seen documentary footage that offers a rare glimpse into the occult occurrences and inexplicable incidents that have so far defied scientific explanation.

Hong Kong Version Blu-ray comes with these special features: making-of, behind the scenes, trailer, deleted scenes, interviews, gala premiere, and photo gallery.

Despite making a splash in 1999 with Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, Okiura Hiroyuki stepped away from the director's chair for over a decade. Now, he has finally reunited with Production I.G. with A Letter to Momo, a gentle fantasy comedy about a teenage girl s friendship with three kind goblins. The creator of the original story concept and the film's storyboards, Okiura worked closely with illustrator Ando Masashi (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke) and art director Ono Hiroshi (Kiki's Delivery Service) on the film's hand-drawn animation design. However, A Letter to Momo is also more intimate than the typical Ghibli fantasy, focusing on the bittersweet emotional journey of its heroine to get over the death of her father.

After the death of her father, 13-year-old Momo is forced to move to her mother's old family home on Shio Island. Left with only the beginning of an unfinished letter from her father, Momo has been trying to decipher the meaning of the words while secretly resenting herself for their final argument before his death. One day, Momo starts to notice things going missing and strange noises around the house. During her investigation, she discovers that the noises are caused by three goblins, led by Iwa (voiced by Nishi Toshiyuki). After getting over her initial fear of the three, they end up forming a special friendship that helps Momo get over her grief.

A rare costume film from Taiwan, Ripples of Desire brings together four of Taiwan's most popular stars: Michelle Chen and Ivy Chen, playing sisters again after Hear Me, and television idols Joe Cheng (It Started with a Kiss) and Jerry Yan (Magic Kitchen) of F4. Known for the lesbian dramas Spider Lilies and Drifting Flowers, Zero Chou directs this handsome period romance set in Taiwan over 300 years ago during the maritime ban. The visually and emotionally beguiling tale transports audiences back to a poetic time of tragic courtesans, dashing pirates and thwarted love. Hong Kong stars Simon Yam and Sandra Ng and Mainland actors Li Xiaoran and Mao Zijun also co-star in this ambitious period drama, which poses questions about the will and status of women amid its lyrical romance and aesthetic splendor.

After losing their father at sea, sisters White Snow (Michelle Chen) and White Frost (Ivy Chen) are taken in by Madame Moon (Sandra Ng) and groomed into the top courtesans at the House of Flowers. Innocent and kindhearted, Snow enchants many with her beautiful voice, including her new music teacher Wen (Joe Cheng), but she suffers from a disease that cannot be known. Ambitious and calculating, Frost sees the world with more cynical eyes and hides her feelings for Scarface (Jerry Yan), the right-hand man of seafaring outlaw Master Hai (Simon Yam). As courtesans, Snow and Frost know their destinies are out of their own grasps, but their hearts cannot turn back the ripples of desire and change.

Tom (Andrew Gregson) drives his car off a bridge, but when he wakes up in the hospital after the accident, he is perfectly fine. Instead, the woman who saved him, Pim (Piyada Akaraseranee), suddenly falls into a coma. Soon, Tom begins to experience flashbacks to his previous life, gradually revealing his connections to Pim.

When we last left Wai Siu Bo (Stephen Chow), he had just sent the fake Empress Dowager Lung Yi (Sharla Cheung) packing, and was in the process of restoring order to the Emperor's court. But Lung Yi returns to gain revenge, except she's had a massive makeover and now looks like Brigitte Lin! More of Jin Yong's classic novel The Duke of Mt. Deer gets adapted and skewered in Royal Tramp II, the sequel to director Wong Jing's hilarious hit comedy Royal Tramp! Having established himself as an Imperial player, Wai Siu Bo earns plenty of new enemies, including evil kung-fu bad guy Feng Shi Fan (Yen Shi Kwan). But as Wai Siu Bo's fabulous luck would have it, he gets transformed into a powerful kung-fu master with no worldly equal! Now the terror of the martial arts world, Wai Siu Bo sets out to quell a growing rebellion, as well as insult and make a mockery of anyone who dares cross his path. Action director Ching Siu Tung amps the action for this sequel, and the already impressive cast is improved by the addition of Brigitte Lin and the gorgeous Michelle Reis! Stephen Chow is at his droll comic best in Royal Tramp II, a hilarious sequel that easily equals and even surpasses its predecessor!

Eighteen years after the classic Hong Kong comedy The Eagle Shooting Heroes, writer-director Jeff Lau returns with his latest fantasy comedy romp featuring an all-star cast. This time, Lau doesn't repeat his spoof of Wong Kar Wai's artsy wuxia, but comes up with a brand-new genre mashup filled with colorful characters inspired by Buddhist deities, his beloved brand of transcending romance, and loads of quotable lines and crazy, good old-fashioned "mo lei tau" gags. In a bid to surpass its unforgettable predecessor, East Meets West even lines up as many as 60 famous pop singers and actors, including Eason Chan, Ekin Cheng, Karen Mok, Stephy Tang, William So, Tan Weiwei, Jaycee Chan, Crystal Huang, Kenny Bee, and many more.

Tens of millennia ago, eight gods who ceaselessly fought each other were exiled to earth. For generations, they have been reincarnated as mere mortals, and they won't be allowed back to heaven until they've learned to coexist in harmony. Then in today's Hong Kong, a mortuary beautician (Karen Mok) and her has-been singer dad (Kenny Bee) are chased for a huge sum of money they don't owe. Turns out her materialistic stepmom (Crystal Huang) has taken a tycoon's (Eason Chan) advance payment on the false promise of organizing a concert that she can't deliver. The family is therefore forced to go on the run, and along the way they meet an assortment of quirky people, including a mute baker (Ekin Cheng), a kung fu cab driver (William So), an aspiring musician (Tan Weiwei) and her crafty sidekick (Jaycee Chan). Through a series of comic misadventures, the seven of them come to realize that they used to be gods and have a mission in this life, but...who is the eighth god that has yet to rejoin them?
