nintendo Nintendo Labo Toy-con 02: Robot Kit For Nintendo Switch
HK$ 558.00
Nzgameshop

Introducing Nintendo Labo, a new line of interactive make, play and discover experiences designed to inspire creative minds and playful hearts alike. Together with the Nintendo Switch console, the Nintendo Labo kits provide the tools and technology to make fun DIY creations, play games with your creations, and discover how Nintendo Switch technology shapes ideas into reality.* Nintendo Labo launches on 27th April across Europe. You can watch the First Look at Nintendo Labo trailer at the all-new YouTube channel. Building on the history of Nintendo, which is rooted in innovative entertainment and gameplay experiences, Nintendo Labo continues the company’s mission of putting smiles on people’s faces. With each Nintendo Labo kit, inspired minds across all generations can transform modular sheets of cardboard – specially designed to interact with the Nintendo Switch console and Joy-Con controllers – into interactive creations called Toy-Con. From a piano to a motorbike, a robot and more, each Toy-Con comes to life when combined with the Nintendo Switch in different ways. As you make, you will have fun discovering how the technology works and even invent new ways to play with each Toy-Con. For example, you can make a functioning 13-key piano that brings your musical arrangements to life once the Nintendo Switch console and Right Joy-Con controller are inserted. As you play, the IR Motion Camera in the Right Joy-Con detects which keys are pressed and plays each note through the console’s built-in speakers. Budding musicians can also experiment with their own musical creations. Or, you can take control of your very own motorbike by constructing a functioning set of handlebars, with a Joy-Con inserted in each side and the Nintendo Switch console cradled in the middle. Simply hit the ignition button, turn the right handle to engage the accelerator, and watch your adventure unfold on the Nintendo Switch screen, as you race to new destinations. “Our goal is to put smiles on the faces of everyone Nintendo touches;” said Satoru Shibata, Nintendo of Europe’s President. “Nintendo Labo invites anyone with a creative mind and a playful heart to make, play and discover in new ways with Nintendo Switch. I personally hope to see many people enjoying making kits with their family members, with big smiles on their faces.” With Nintendo Labo, making and discovering is just as much fun as playing. Every Toy-Con creation presents exciting challenges and varying degrees of complexity, so each one is a unique experience. Making Toy-Con is especially fun with family and friends, as you collaborate and share each other’s Nintendo Labo experiences. Once built, those with a creative touch can customise their Toy-Con creations with their own colouring pens, stickers and paint to give them a personal feel – the only limit is their imagination. A special Customisation Set that includes fun stencils, stickers and coloured tape will also be available to purchase from 27th April. Nintendo Labo launches in Europe on 27th April with two kits: the Variety Kit and the Robot Kit. Both kits include everything you need to bring your Toy-Con to life, including the building materials and relevant Nintendo Switch software. Nintendo Gaming Consoles to Consider for Your Child and Family

Nintendo has a large variety of gaming products produced since its first entry into the gaming industry. Its first-generation console ever made was the Color TV-Game that was released in 1977. Nintendo's consoles have a long-standing reputation of being very iconic; in a way that every iteration of its consoles has all become a very large source of nostalgia for a lot of people. Also, many of its consoles and handhelds are ideal for kids and family as their features are suited to different ages.

Switch

As one of the most recent creations of Nintendo, the Switch is a portable home console that also functions as a handheld device. It comes with a tablet-like screen and two wireless gaming controllers that slide into place on either side. There are three ways to play this top-of-the-line console. First, there is a TV mode that allows you to play games on a television. If you want to play on the go, you can go for the handheld mode. You have to attach the controllers at the sides of the console to provide you a traditional handheld gaming experience like on 3DS. Lastly, there’s also a tabletop mode in which you place the screen on any flat surface and remove the controllers so one to two players can enjoy playing games.

Wii

The Nintendo Wii is a gaming console which puts a strong focus into motion sensing controllers and games. The Wii Remote Control doubles as a motion controller which enabled players to play with motion sensing games such as Wii Sports, which emulate reality sports such as badminton and tennis. Accessories, such as a wrist strap, have been made for the controller to secure the remote to the wrist for safety purposes as well. Traditional controller-based games are also present; with a service that enabled playing past games via emulation from older Nintendo systems. Many other different types of controllers have been made for the Wii to work with different types of games.

Wii U

The Wii U is the first Nintendo console to feature high-definition graphics. It also has the unique Wii U GamePad with a built-in touchscreen from which players can use as a secondary screen to complement the main game on the primary display or act as a standalone primary display for the game when the TV is unavailable for use. It is also backward compatible with the Nintendo Wii's software and accessories. Internet connectivity has also been given more focus for the Wii U via the Nintendo Network.

Handheld Consoles

Nintendo's ever famous Gameboy line of handheld consoles has been seen at least once in every household. Its many successors and iterations have led to many different types of improvements over the lifespan of the line. Eventually, the GameBoy line would give way to the Nintendo DS line of handhelds, which would then become the Nintendo 3DS handheld consoles with 3D imaging capabilities.

Nintendo 3DS

The Nintendo 3DS portable handheld console features a clamshell design with dual screens. It is also able to produce 3D graphics through the use of a stereoscopic 3D slider on the right side of the top display. It has backward compatibility with previous DS handheld consoles as well.

Nintendo 3DS XL

The first hardware revision by Nintendo. Essentially an improved and larger version of the Nintendo 3DS with larger displays and battery life; it serves to complement the original 3DS.
