Samsung is expected to unveil a new tablet in the fourth quarter of 2017, known simply as Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). It is expected to be available in two versions: with or without 4G modem.
Although the tablet market is not as robust or dynamic than the smartphones, the top brands are still introducing new tablet models into their inventory. For example, Apple had released two iPad Pros and a classic iPad earlier in the year. Samsung has also released many models such as the Galaxy Book tablet for professionals and have added models into its high-end Galaxy Tab S series and mid-range Galaxy Tab and Galaxy A lines. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is one of the upcoming models due to be released by the Korean tech giants.

The processor will be complemented with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage that is expandable via MicroSD. To ensure that the tablet is capable of handling multitasking flawlessly throughout the day, it comes with a large battery with 5000mAh capacity.
In terms of design, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) will sport an aluminium shell and should be available in two colours: black and gold. Camera-wise, the tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor at the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The device will also be running on the Android 7.0 out of the box.
