Last month, China’s biggest smartphone player launched its second generation Mix Max phone - the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. At that time, the device only came with one color option which is the gold variant. It was quite disappointing for many customers, especially those who prefer a different shade to their Xiaomi phone. The gold variant wasn’t really everyone’s favorite flavor, thus affected the phone’s appeal to consumers. However, just recently, Xiaomi finally answered the plight of its fans clamoring for a darker shade of color and launched a Matte Black color version of their Mi Max 2.
Previously, Xiaomi officials tweeted about a new device coming soon but they did not confirm if it is the Redmi Note 4. But last year in November, the Redmi Note 4 was launched in China, and now starts selling in other countries like Nepal. Recently, Xiaomi just unveiled the device in India on May 16 and it has already sold over a million Redmi Note 4 units.
According to Gizchina, they discovered a back cover image of the Mi 6 Plus along with the Mi 6 smartphone on the Chinese web, giving us clues that the launch date might be in the near future. As revealed in the image, the Mi 6 Plus’ back cover is similar to the Mi 6 in terms of design; the only difference is the size – it is larger compared to the Mi 6 as expected.
Xiaomi may have leaked Redmi Pro’s successor, the Redmi Pro 2, on their official website. Although they managed to take down the listing quickly, the hawk-eyed followers of the device already had gathered information on it. Based on the leak, the Redmi Pro 2 will sport a 5.5-inch AMOLED display and will house a whopping battery capacity of 4,100 mAh, which is a slight upgrade from its predecessor. It will wield a metallic body and a 2.5D screen with a curved glass surface.

Xiaomi enjoyed amazing success with the recent flash sale of its Mi6 flagship, selling out in the first few hours. However, news that the company will not be releasing the Mi6 Plus has raised some questions. To compensate for the lack of the Mi6 Plus launch, latest rumours are suggesting that the Mi Note 3 is going to be unveiled much sooner than initially planned.
Arrived in the same month as Apple announced its latest devices, Xiaomi is fearless to go head-to-head with the tech behemoth, finding a way to steal the iPhone X’s popularity today with its top-of-the-line camera phone – the Mi Note 3.
